Under-sink or Point of Use RO systems as they are sometimes called, are just like their commercial big brothers, but in a compact design that fits under your sink. They are smaller, so they can only produce enough water for drinking and cooking. Since the under-sink Reverse Osmosis makes water slowly, we use a small pressure tank that stores a couple of gallons of water or so that is dispensed out of a separate faucet on top of your sink. Often times, this can also be connected to the water that runs to your refrigerator or ice maker.
We have under sink RO’s of different capacities in stock and ready for installation today. We also stock many types and finishes of RO faucets to match your main faucet or kitchen hardware. It only takes a couple of hours in most circumstances to install an under-sink reverse osmosis system.
Joe Water also stocks replacement filters for most common RO systems.
There are many ways, but one of the most important is that we use only the best quality 160 psi fittings and tubing. Other companies use cheap quality components which is a recipe for disaster. Would you risk flooding your kitchen, home or condo building to save $100? It is just not worth it. At Joe Water we water pressure test each system in house before it is brought to your home to be installed.
Want further leak protection? We have simple devices that can be installed as an option that will shut the water off to your RO system if a leak is detected. Ask for these “leak protectors” by name when you call in if you are interested and we can add it to your system for a low additional cost.
It is great to make the decision to have one of these fine quality systems installed, but you will need to change filters, or your water will return to the old impure state that it was before. Don’t leave it up to your memory to know when it is time to change filters! Joe Water will put you in our calendar and give you a kind reminder before your filters expire.
